Competing at the Arizona State Sun Angel Classic, the Utah women's track and field team broke two-school records en-route to a success showing.

Getting the Arizona State Sun Angel Classic underway, the Utah women throwers had a solid outing in the hammer throw. Sophomore Aoife Hickey led the Utes in the elite competition with a fifth-place performance.

The University of Utah track and field team is set to host its annual Utah Spring Classic on Friday April 12. The event will be held at the state-of-the-art McCarthy Family Track and Field located at 98 S. Wasatch Drive in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The University of Utah women's track and field team heads to Arizona for the Sun Angel Classic this weekend. The competition will begin at 12 p.m. MST with the women's hammer throw. Events will be held at Sun Angel Stadium in Tempe, Ariz.

On the second day of competition at the Stanford Invitation, the Utah women's track team had only two athletes compete in the 800m race.

Competing at three invitational meets on Friday, the University of Utah women's track and field team had several top performances. The Utes broke one school record and posted another performance that currently is top in the NCAA.
